"Babel." I understand that it was Scorcese's turn to get the directing Oscar, but that doesn't mean that "The Departed" was the best film of the year.
At some point, they need to start voting for the best films and the best performances. Scorcese should have won for some of his past films--it's too bad that his Oscar is for "The Departed."
