I'd like to put on a play with some friends- 2 guys, 1 girl in their mid-twenties- and we're looking for a good script. Any suggestions Thesps?

yes- but not plays. George Clooney is now casting for his new movie, "leatherheads". the filming and casting is taking place in upstate South Carolina. (where i live).

Neil Simon's scripts are pretty funny & usually have small casts. My friend's theatre company is currently producing The Star-Spangled Girl, which is exactly what you requested - 2 guys, 1 girl, in their mid-twenties - and a great script.
Also look at Sam Shepherd's scripts. His works are a bit more twisted, but excellent nonetheless. I know Fool for Love has 2 guys & 1 girl. It's been a while since I've read it, but I think it may have some smaller roles that could be double-cast with one of the guys.

i'm no thespian but i love samuel beckett's work, he usually has really nice dialogues. there's one called 'play' but i think it's 2 girls and 1 guy. anyone for a sex change..? :)
