I have been invited to my 15 year old boyfriend's confirmation. I am the same age and I am wondering about gift ideas. I don't know if I am even supposed to get him a gift, and if so I don't know where to begin. Some suggested money, and if so, how much? Please help.

MONEY??? How tacky!

A religious event should be honored with a religious gift. Money will be gone next week. I am 41 years old and still use the bible my sponsor gave me when I was confirmed!

Go to a Catholic book store. You will fond a nice selection of Catholic prayer books and rosaries. Those are nice choices because they show your desire for his growth in his relationship with the Lord, and they are reasonably priced.

How about a gift card to one of his favorite stores? Please do not listen to ideas about giving him a cross or bible, I am sure he already has these, will receive plenty from other people, and most of them will end up in a drawer.
