i always mix about 1 part bleach to about 7 parts water and it works for me !!!!
just make sure you don`t go over the top with the bleach and you`ll be fine.

Sterilising fluid or tablets as used for babies' bottles. An hour in the solution should be enough, and they shouldn't need rinsing afterwards.

Old farmers trick.. add a little bleach to the water and let soak.....just make sure you rinse well.

try using sterillizer fluid like what you use in baby bottles , their plastic and dont do any harm , harm , harm ,harm :-)
