I think it was suicide. One time he said-"Comedy is just a way of trying to kill the pain." He really wasn't very happy with himself in general.

It was a homicide. Someone forced the gun into his face while he was holding it and pulled the trigger.

And how weird was that?! I just don't know, sounds kinda fishy to me. Why would anyone shoot themselves in the face? Maybe he meant to put the gun in his mouth. Who knows. It was a tragedy. He was such a funny comedian.

He was an unhappy man. I have a feeling it was in his mouth (almost assuring instant death).
