About 10 yrs. ago I was making dinner. I went to the pantry and bent over to get a potato off the bottom shelf. When I did, the broom fell over and I smashed my face into the end of it. Then if the bruise wasnt bad enough, it poked me in the eye and scratched my cornea. My Dr. couldn't stop laughing (with me) He said it was the worst case of "domestic" violence he'd ever seen.

I was out gathering firewood for camping, and I found this one peice that was too cumbersome to carry, so I threw it hard down onto a rock to break it, and it bounced back up twice as hard and hit me in the face. The whole left side of my face turned black and blue. I got a lot of jabbs at work the following monday. it lasted for a few weeks. My Dad once blacked his own eye by bending over fast to put his overalls on, and the strap flew over and hit him in the eye. we all laughed at him, too.

We were moving my couch to the other side of the room, sliding it across the floor. I lost my footing & then my balance and my face hit the edge of the window sill right at the bridge of my nose & a few minutes later I had two black eyes. Lucky I did not break my nose. Pretty lame, I'd say.

In a school fight...we were all throwing stuff in the air at one another (no pencils, or scissors, just huge erasers and painting supplies) and when I thought it was safe to take a look outside from my hiding place this gigantic double sided eraser smacked me right in the eye.
Needless to say, I had the marking not only in the eye but half of my face.

Ive only gotten a black eye once. When i was young i was playing by a creek, and i leaned over and fell face forward and hit my eye on a rock.

I was getting a large box of Christmas decorations down from the shelf, dropped one side, and a corner of the box hit my eye. It cut my eye lid, and I had a real ugly shiner, to sport around for the Holidays. Of course, the family and friends, teased the crap out of me.....

Well one time when i was 8 ( Im 10 now ) I was playing with my friend on the playground, On the rock climbing wall I then turned around to see what my friend wanted and then I turned around and my eye bumped onto the climbing rock.

When I was a kid, I opened a door at school and somehow managed to hit myself in the face with it and give myself a black eye. It really does happen!

This christmas, my brother was trying to give me the keys to my car from ACROSS the lawn therfore throughing them (overhand) directly at my FACE. This ensured that ALL the pretty christmas pictures my mom had planned now had to be rearranged to match the pretty purply-black of my eye.

I was in a parking lot checking out a hot guy and not paying any attention to what i was doing. i opened my car door right into my face. to make things worse, i was getting in on the wrong side of the car!

I just got in the car with the wrong person at the wrong time. She ran a red light. I have the scars to prove it for the rest of my life.
