I was talking to my friend form Germany and he said that Americans can talk openly about sex to each other more than people in his country can. We weren't talking about on TV, we were talking about just being able to have an open conversation with someone about sex, especially with someone of opposite gender (not in a "dirty" way).
Can people in other coutries talk to their peers openly about sex?

i would say in America you cant talk about sex openly. Europeans have far more liberal values as to actually having sex. to Northern europeans its almost like an invitation for coffee. Americans if we mention sex at work we have to worry about sexual harassment charges. In Italy they can have a calender of a beautiful womean posing topless and to them it nothing except a beautiful woman posing.. They few it as Art.. Americans would view the same thing as porn. America needs to losen up we are just a bit too conservative.

OMG. In the philippines sex is advertised everywhere! Children learn how to do sexy dances to please older men. The tv shows are too bad for little kids. Sex influences alot of things in the philippines.
