I gotta go with the Pens on this...if they get a 1 or 2 seed. The offense is ridiculous, it's the best in the league, kinda like the early 90's. The one thing that sticks out though is goaltending. Fleury can be Brodeur-esqe, but he can also be Fleury-esqe.
Watch out for the Pens.

San Jose Sharks.
They have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. They have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding experience and leadership with Craig Rivet. They also added another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to add to their arsenal of attacks! They are on a small winning streak right now, and will put it all together and make a run for the division lead real soon.

i will admit that residing in Detroit, i'm greater of a pink Wings fan, yet i'm a hockey fan frequently too (surely no longer a bandwagoner or a %. bunny). i pick the Wings in 6 to win, in spite of the reality that i could want they get it in 5 so as that they could win at homestead. i will admit that the Pens are a youthful and quicker team, yet you won't have the capacity to take out the experience element that Detroit has over them. Zetterberg & Datsyuk are a fairly unstoppable tension on the Wings and have worked properly at the same time all season. upload that to the reality that Franzen is meant to be coming back from his harm, Lidstrom is marvelous on protection (his 5 Norris Trophies are info of that), and Osgood has been great in objective, stepping in for Hasek. permit's pass pink Wings!!!
