Cat in the movie 10 things I hate about you, does she influence you, like if you were 13 or so and you then watched that movie, and now you kind of have her same attitude? Like for me when I first watched that movie I used to think like she did when she was in 9th grade, be cool be cool you know and then when she grew older she decided she didn';t care what people thought.... so did any of you kind of take that in and did it influence you?

I loved Cat in this movie, so much better than her snotty sister!

This movie was a play on "The Taming Of the Shrew" and I loved that story also!

She didn't really influence me. I first saw the movie when I was 11, and I didn't necesarily find her to be 'cool'. I mean, thought she was a great character but I didn't want to be like her. I think it is a great way to be, to not care what people think of you, but she did kind of go to the extreme where she did care about what people thought of her. She didn't want people to predict what she was doing, and that is a form of caring what people think.

I was already that way, so I guess it couldn't really influence me. But I do love that movie. I have no idea how many times I've watched it.
