i heard the spaniards of spain are actually a celtic people, or the descendents of celtic people, i was wondering if this is true.

According the the stories told by the Celts, the Irish people (the sons of Mil), came from the Spain area. However, once Rome rolled on through and conquered the area, most of the traces of Celtic culture suffered heavily, so it's probably better to call them (at least in part) descendants of a Celtic people as opposed to actually Celtic. (Unless, of course, the people in question actually speak a Celtic language or practice a Celtic culture, but those people tend to be exceptions.)
