Fall out boy is my favortie band in the whole world. People say theyre gay or wannabe emo but people have different tastes. It's not like we say their music sucks. If you dont like it I understand but it doesnt mean its bad.

I think because they are popular, and their music gets played all the time people get tired of it especially if they aren't typically into that genre of music. Any group that gets big is subject to lots of criticism. You probably just notice it more because you like them so much.

Many people think that they are sell outs and make all their money from the mrechandise and they don't like it 'cause they believe bands should make money from the music they sell.
I understand how you feel I love fob but all three of my brothers hate them i guess for now it will have to remain a mystery.

they just dont understand them, everyone has different taste in music. some like rap some like rock, some like country some like classic. And people say their wannabee emo's olny cuz they had 3 albums, but hey they have had more succes in 4 yrs then anyone could accomplish in a lifetime!

I'm not completely sure on that one. I wonder that everyday. Fall Out Boy is my favorite band in the whole world too, and I completely understand if someone doesn't like them, but they don't have to talk trash about them. It really gets on my nerves... And then what I REALLY hate, is when 1 week somebody is like, "Fall Out Boy is the gayest band on this planet".. and a week later, its like, "OMG! Fall Out Boy is the best band!" Thats something NO ONE will ever figure out.

FOB is one of my fave bands. They are not gay and they are also emo wannabe. I think people say that because it's their opinion. Even there are many negatives to them, think that they are best and you don;t care what they say because that's what you believe

I like them also and I think there are a few reason why people don't like Fall Out Boy.
1. They think they are wannabees and posers
2. They don't like their music.
3. They think they are over rated.
I agree with you they are my favorite band in the world. But I think that if people don't like them at least give them a chance. After that if they still don't like them that if fine but just don't talk about how much you hate them!

i don't know! one of my friends calls them "posers" but i mean they're just an awesome band doing their own thing....and they rock = )
