Yeah, agreed, and not to mention the fact that race aside, they scream 'SUE'! the second that somebody does them wrong. Human error will always exist, get a grip. Restraining orders for a couple of phonecalss too. Wow, people must live in fear of putting a foot wrong.

Oh Gawd Yes!
We are becoming WAY too sensitive! Not just with race relations either!
Remember Justin Timberlakes superbowl commercial?
Some association for restaurant workers lodged a protest, saying that the commercial was demeaning to fast food workers.Thankfully the insurance company that ran the ad refused to apologize, saying that not everybody is going to find every joke funny. Finally! Some people with backbone!
I also got written up at work for an angry phone call I made to a co-worker last week. She made the same mistake for about the 20th time in 6 months. As a result my 8 hour work day turned into a 14 hour workday, and I had to log an additional 110 miles of drive time to fix things (AGAIN!).She's not in trouble for her repeated mistakes, but now I have to have a little talk with my boss's boss about the "insensitive" tone and language that I used during the phone call. I never called her any names, but I did say that I was "p!ssed off",and that the situation (and the previous 19 times) was "bullsh!t". I also used the "F" bomb, but that was referring to the situation and not her. Before I hung up I apologized for my rough demeanor, and again explained my position, but in a calm tone.My outburst was a one time thing.I've never acted that way before, even though I've been put in that SAME situation MANY times before!
But I'M the one who's in trouble! I'm suppossed to make an "official" apology to this woman for my "insensitive" remarks, but have yet to hear so much as a "sorry" for all the times I've been put in an emergency situation because of her not doing her job!
YES! We are becoming WAY too sensitive as a nation. It's time for us all to cowboy up and quit crying about our hurt feelings!

It's all about being politically correct. You have to check yourself before saying anything really, you might get a slap on the wrist. Or if you've seen the show "Rescue Me", you'll probably get spit on by someone from the 'community' if you save a busload of kids instead of getting to a call that wasn't a priority. Reverand Al Sharpton enjoys blowing things out of proportion, not everything is about race. Can't people just be people?

I am offended and think your question is insensitive to (insert fringe group here)-Americans. I am contacting your sponsors and starting a boycott!
Where's Al Sharpton when you need him?
Seriously though, Americans have turned in to hyper-sensitive crybabies just waiting for the next verbal miscue.

Yep....you're right. And unfortunately, it creates a snowball effect, because people start to get paranoid and think "hey.....should I be offended by what that guy just said to me???" instead of just giving the person the benefit of the doubt that they did not mean any harm. We start LOOKING for trouble where there is none. If it weren't so sad it would be funny. (Or maybe it's the other way around.... :)

It is impossible to become anymore politically correct. If it gets any worse we will have to change the flag to Pink, Purple, and Paisley!

I think it is absolutely rediculous. Everyone has a problem. The problem is that nobody is comfortable in their own skin anymore, so everyone else needs counseling. Give me a break!!! It's embarrassing to live in this country.

even though i live in the us, i gotta admit we are little cry babies. i truly think that our country is being way way too spoiled, and you know that all spoiled people are stuck up and sensitive. i really don't care about these stupid comments though, but i do agree that we are cry babies, and it's embarrasing
