You should let the weed and feed sit on the dry leaves of weeds for a couple of days. It is better to wait for rain, then it will get a good soaking, but for the weed and feed to be affective, the grass needs to be dry.

Absolutely not! I have worked in a garden retail store for almost 3 years now and that is one of the first thing's we've ever learned! You have to let the weed and feed actually work it's way into the roots of the grass and do what the product is supposed to do, kill the weeds and everything else, and also give you a healthy looking lawn. In no way should you water the lawn until it has been at least 24 hours and it absolutely needs it, I would recomment waiting at least 72 hours though and watering it at night because that way it will soak in along with your product and the sun will help it along the day after.

I sprinkled water before to let the Weed n Feed stick. Now I'm going to wait to water for a couple of days. It's worked before doing it that way. Voi La! Great lawn within just 2 months!!

Hi there. Read the directions on the weed and feed product. If you can't, get a friend or neighbor to. Have a great lawn.

If it is real dry in your area, then I would say yes. Weed N Feed releases Chemicals slowly into your yard. When I first put mine down, it is normally warm outside and dry so I do water it real well for a few days unless it rains.

modern fertilizers do not require they be watered in to prevent grass scortch from the nitrogen in the fertilizer. If you bought cheap fertilizer with no slo release qualities, the you might water in to prevent mass run off of the chemicals in a heavy rain.
