Seems to me that what Mandela has anbove all is his personal qualtiies of decency and honorable attitude. After 28 years in prsion he went on with his life without bitterness or seeking revenge. Then he was able to lead his country into an era of shared responsibility for government and set aside ethnic discrimination. Maybe Israel/Palestine will someday find peace when they too renounce apartheid and find a great man like Nelson Mandela to lead them into a future of justice and peace.
