Which of these girls do i go 2 prom with?
prom is june 2nd for me i have a problem. i really wana go with my best friend, but she lives an hour away, her mom has cancer, shes going over seas 4 like half of april, and moving 2 a diff part of usa in july. so i feel me asking her to invest that much time,(im sure u remember what a big deal prom was in ur sr HS year), i feel like u kno im just adding 2 her burdern. she says she wants 2 go, but shes not the kind of girl who is into nails hair shoes and dresses, i might know more about girly stuff than she does..
then 2 other girls, want 2 go with me but they dont really like me, and just want 2 go bcuz they liked getting all fancy and going 2 big events. 1 girl would probly leave me and go home with sum other dude, and the other 1 i went 2 jr prom with last year n she only danced for like 2 songs.. or i can always just find a random junior or sophmore
wat do u guys recomend?

the first girl, it would be a lovely thing to do for her. you never know she may enjoy all the buzz of a prom :)

I would go with girl number one. You may be surprised that even girls that done seem like they are all into dresses and stuff still want to go to prom and have someone tell them they look beautiful. Make sure that you let her know that if she has too much going on that she should not feel pressured to go with you but that you would be honored if she did. Doing something normal like going to prom with a friend might be very helpful for her if she watching her mother suffer through cancer. It might mean more to her than you realize.

Hm, well I definitely wouldn't go with the latter two. And only invite the first gal if she is really someone you want to share this special occasion with. Don't worry about her not being "girly" enough or having too much on here plate. In fact, she might welcome something like this to take her out of her current sad set of circumstances. But again, only if you truly want her as your partner for prom night. If not, seriously consider asking some gal who you feel comfortable around and who values you for you. Good luck guy.

I don't think you want to add any further stress to your best friend's life right now, it sounds like she's got it pretty hard. I would suggest that you try to look for someone else to accompany you though, since the other two girls sound boring and/or self absorbed, and you would not have a good time with either.

Talk with the 1st girl you mentioned. I think you should go with her. And it is a big deal yes, and i dont know how sick her mom is but i'm sure she'd love to see her daughter get dressed up and get pics...she wouldnt want to miss that either. The other girls sound fake. Go with who will be more fun and real.

well if i was you i would go with my best freind, atleast she would wanna be there for you, you could ask her if she wants to dress nice since its prom, or you could look around and try to find a girl who acaully would look forward to go with you and hav a good time, but i wouldnt go with a girl whos gonna ditch me becuase i would be wasitng my money, cuz u got to pay for dinner and all that stuff, so i would say ur best friend would be a perfect choice or another close friend....porm for me is april 21 and its only for jrs and seinors, im a jr and my gf is a sophmore so i cant go this year...well if you end up going with a girl who isnt gonna ditch you have fun..maybe ull get lucky

There is no decision - hands down - "Take your best friend." You never know when you will see her again and right now she needs a little distraction and help her out with the dressing up bit. Both of you will have the best time.

Go with the first girl b/c you know you will have fun with her at least you know she is not going to leave you alone since she is you friend.

definitely the first girl. it will makeher happy especially since her mom has cancer and will give her a night where she can just have fun
plus you don't seem like you like the other girls so don't go with them

Find someone that you will honestly have a good time with, this is something to be remembered and you should go with someone you truly want to be with.
