Im 13. A typical period of mine lasts 6 days at the most. However, this month I have had my period going on 11 days. Is this normal? What could it mean?

Well, if you have just started in the past year or so, its normal, its gets all wierd like that sometimes! But if it last too long, ask your mom, and maybe go to a doctor!

That is typical, b/c your period han't regulated yet. But if it lasts too much longer then i would have your mom make a doctor appointment. My friend had to get put on birth control to help regulate her period, but only if your period doesn't regulate after a couple of years, then you might have to get put on it.
*best of luck*

you might need to go on a birth control pill to regulate you cycle but wait a few months and keep a record of symptoms etc.... for you Dr it will help him pick a plan that will best suite you. and as far as length the pill also helps with that as well as cramps and flow( heavy/light ) good luck!!!!

It sounds like your body is still regulating itself as it adjusts to the physical changes going on inside of it but I would also recommend talking to your mom about this, and also check with the dr.

This is normal. It takes a couple of months or even years for a girl to have her cycle regulated.

sometimes this happens..........I have never been regular even when I was on the pill but if you continue to have longer ones it wouldn't hurt to check with the doctor
