It was Smackdown, not ECW. MR. Kennedy had to ground and pound him and screw him out of that MITB opportunity to teach him a lesson for disrepecting and invading Smackdown by being on the show.
Go back to ECW! Unless he's on the Smackdown roster, he's got no business on Smackdown.

Okay, here is how it goes.
When there is an inter-promotional match coming up, stars from different brands show up on the other shows to build up the match.
CM Punk was against Mr. Kennedy because they are both participants in the Money in the Bank match. Expect a lot more things like that in the next shows before Wrestlemania.
Obviously you haven't heard that Vince McMahon is dropping brand only pay per views and in order to build up the interpromotional matches, talent from all three brands will be on all three brands. The Extension isn't ending, Vince just wants to increase ppv buyrates.

CM Punk is a rising star in this business. So is Mr. Kennedy. This was a chance for CM to gain more viewers for ECW, and to gain more popularity himself. Don't get me wrong, Kennedy is a great entertainer, but I'd say CM punk wins by a hair in the wrestling division.

Where is the ******* question? Cm punk is in the money and the bank match and is one fo the few superstars who is more talented the kennedy. Invading smackdown he was used their in a match its not an invasion angle.
