So much depends on this. Are you correcting her in front of others...big no no. Are you kind and tactful?
Do you do it in a loving and constructive/helpful way?
Is your purpose of correcting her for her own well being or do you do it in a way that makes her feel inferior?
What is your true motives in otherwards?

its not rude if you know for a fact that she is wrong, i mean i see that ur not a teenager so ur a grown woman who now knows right from wrong. ur not a teenager that goes looking for a fight with ur mother or anything like that. so if ur mother is wrong you most deffinately have the right to correct her, i would try to do it in the nicest way that i could, but deffinately get the point across that she is wrong about something. or everything. lol
p.s. and jsut because she is ur omther, that doesnt mean that everything she says is correct anyway
well i hope i have helped u :)

Yea....it kinda is. I think so. But it kinda depends. If she say stuff ALL the time dat aint right, then Its ok to correct her everyonce in a while. But if shes not really ever wrong, then i would just leave it alone. As long as you know whats right. cuz dats how my mom is. she say some stuff sometime dat dont make no sense but i just kinda joke about and laugh it off with her. You'll be fine if u just kinda joke about instead of seeming like you're throwin it in her face. You know what I mean?

Yikes! If your mother "seems" to be wrong "all the time" you'll be correcting forever. Choose one issue that bothers you the most to start. Correct once without being aggressive. Don't start your "correction" with the word "you" such as "YOU always...." because she will not hear you but will probably feel attacked and become defensive. Instead try out your first correction with the word "I." For example...."I think it's possible that you are missing information about" whatever she's talking about. So - test it out. I think "correcting" is important for you to do but do it "correctly."

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Unlikely that your mother is ALWAYS wrong. If you must occasionally correct your mother, do so in a respectful manner. And be considerate. She's the only mother you'll ever have.....and she loves you!

Only if u do it in a rude way like "omg mom, thats not right blahblahblah." but if u correct her in a sinsere way then that is perfectly fine for example if ur mom thought 1+1=3 then simply say "mom i do not think thats right the correct answer is 2" get my point!

Not as long as there is respect between the two of you. You have the right to have your own opinions. The greatest lesson that I learn in life was when I realized that my parents were human and not "gods". Then we became friends.

It seems that ALL teens think their parents are wrong all the time. Cherish this time, because a day will come when you'll look back and say, "Yikes... my mom was right" and realize that you were a typical jerk of a teen ager.

It is rude if you do it in public and embarrass your mother. If you do it in private, just make it seem like an informational session. Let her down lightly. After all, she's still your mom.

It is not rude if you correct her in a polite way. And if it is an insignificant error such as mispronouncing a word it is probably best let it go.
