A nursery owner who carries mulch makes a deal with the store owner and gives him a portion of the money he makes selling it there. Everybody's happy...except you..you have to pay more.

LOL. I've wondered this myself. They are hoping for the impulse buy. You are standing there getting your gas and all of a sudden you realize your spouse told you to get xxx number of bags of mulch. There it is and so easy to get into your car.

They are no long gas stations they are convenience stores... they sell convenience for the impulse buyer.
