i recently watched SAW 1.. and i cant understand something about its end: who was the man laying with a bloody mask on the floor? is he the one who planned all of that? or just another used victim?

The guy on the floor is John/Jigsaw, the cancer patient turned murderer. On Saw 3, it goes back to the planning of this.

It was jigsaw laying in the blood. When you watch the others it will show you why he was laying in the blood. He loves to toy with people. I love these movies!

Yes, he planned it all. He said he likes a front row seat to his little games and Zep was a set-up. He was really a victim, too.

He's the numero uno bad guy in the movie.That doesn't really give anything away.You should really watch Saw II and Saw III to see how he gets there.
