Rock will never leave, it changes with the generations. Hip Hop may not last as long but i hope it does.

Cupid's Chokehold is my favorite song,I really don't care if it's hip hop or rock or whatever if I like a song I like it.

It's here to stay, even if it does not necessarily stay mainstream. Keep in mind that rock/hip hop have been around longer than people realize; a classic example of an awesome song would be "Bring tha Noize" featuring Anthrax. (It's a collaboration between Anthrax and Public Enemy)

you mean the Nu Metal? or the hip hop songs with pieces of rock in the background like one i heard where it was hiphop with a background from Ozzy's 'Crazy Train' ? it's ok but some of them kinda mutalate the rock parts when it comes to blending the sound..

Rock Hip Hop songs are pretty cool. They have a good beat and rhythm. i love to listen to those kind of songs

I think its ok if the songs are good. I didnt like linken park all that much until I saw them Live . they had so much energy and was really moving the crowd. Limp bizkit was ok too but they fell off. I guess it depends on the group and there material. PEACE!

i think it should stay. if you like that kind of music you should try the Gorillaz. They are rock,alternative,hip-hop,dub,and reggae.THE GORILLAZ RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
