Jean size/fit?

Question

Three little sub questions about jean size/fit:
1. I found this pair of jeans I love in Large. What is that in a # size?
2. Do different brands/styles of jeans fit differently, so if I'm an 8 in one brand/style, I might be a 10 in a different brand/style?
3. How should a pair of jeans ideally fit?

1. I don't believe that large transfers to any certain size, but i would say in between 9-12 or something like that.

2. Yes different brands or styles fit differently then others, so i would always try on a size bigger and smaller then the size you usually wear. It all varies, just try on a pair that is around your size and that you think will fit you.

3. A pair of jeans should fit snug, it depends on how tight you like your jeans, like me i like my jeans tight on me, but normally people wear their jeans so they are not baggy around the butt area, or the back thigh area.

-If its online there should be a sizing chart section and it will tell you the sizes the large run in

-Yes, they also fit differently according to the type of material whether or not their khaki, 100% cotton or their stretchy

3. How should a pair of jeans ideally fit?

-They should fit however you want them to fit your body, not too tight and not falling off

*Yes I do believe so

*They should be comfortable. You should be able to move around in them but they shouldn't be falling off either.
