italian... and clint didn't know what he was saying... someone translated it and put it up on the teleprompter... didn't you see how hard he was staring just above the camera?

You should be more specific..If you mean the guy accepting an Oscar for his whole contribution is Ennio Morricone. He spoke Italian. It's an easyto understand what language it is.
And I don't think that Clint knew Italian. Someone else was translatiing it & Clint was just saying them for the audience.
