i am 12 and my mom lets me wear make up but my grandma says i am to young. whats your opinion?

Keep it light and it is alright! Remember, the older you look the older people will expect you to act and be responsible for. Be careful to not fool the boys into thinking you are much older! Keep out of trouble and get through college! Yep, I am a mom!

Well.. I do have to say that 12 is a little young, however, it all depends on how much you're wearing. Besides, at 12 you can feel just as self-conscious as a 15 year old.
I still don't wear makeup and I'm 15, but I'd really like to. My mom is just one of those old fashioned people I guess.. but I feel like since everyone around me wears make-up, I feel that much more ugly because I don't.
So, I dunno.. wearing makeup that young can give a mature impression, which can be good or bad which ever way you look at. Personally, I think 14 is a good age to start wearing make-up. Well.. more than just lip gloss and mascara.

I, personally, did not wear makeup until I was 14. I think as long as you keep it classy, and don't get carried away with tons of makeup, then it's up to you when you start wearing makeup. I still take my parents and grandparents opinions into consideration, I know they only want the best, even when I don't agree. ;)

if ur 12 or 13 to skoll i would only wear lip gloss.but i think that u should wear make up at the age of 15 or 16.....cuz if u start wearing it to young ...then when ur older ur skin is really bad and it turns black...like ur lips and everything......i had a friend and she wore make up when she was really young now her face is like all black...and she isnt that pretty anymore....

12 is too young, you should not wear it until you are a bit older...around 15

You need to practice life skills and for a female, makeup is one of them. Outside the home, it would very much depend on who you were with and what you were trying to do. With mom to a restaurant or the mall would be OK but out on your own or with a bunch of girls, I would probably be upset if you were my daughter.

i am 11 my mom lets me wear makeup my grandma doesn't even know anyway if you live in canada or usa they are free countries

when your old enough to know what looks good. the other day i saw these girls about 10 years old that wore bright pink eye shadow over almost her entire face, so i just think if you know what your doing any age is fine.

Whenever you feel ready...if you're ready 4 makeup now, then wear it.. Besides it's your face, not no1 elses. So go with your gut feeling!!
