wait did you do anything to hurt it? if you didn't then you can pop it in and out by holding at the joints of the collar bone and the arm bone and pulling will pop it out for as long as you can hold it.
buttttt if you did hurt yourself then I'd suggest going to a doctor it could be a dislocation or your bone could be broken.lets hope thats not the case =0

No it is not normal for it to pop in and out {of what I assume the socket?} When the tissues around the shoulder get damaged it can no longer hold the bones in place and they can fall out of place. You need to see a doctor, and have it evaluated.

I would suggest calling your doctor or the doctor who is on-call at your doctors office. They will probably send you to the ER so that they can pop it into the correct place. Sounds like it is dislocated, it isn't hard to put back into place but... it does hurt like heck!! Go as soon as you can... longer you wait... the worse it gets.
Good Luck!!

If it's an emergency, then go to the emergency room, for pete's sake. It can't hurt TOO bad since you are sitting online typing instead of going to a doctor.

Sounds like a torn rotator cuff. You should go to your Dr and get an x-ray. You should probably immobilize it and not be popping it in and out, you could do some real damage to it.

no its not normal i have the same problem your ligaments are probably stretched and you need medical attention to make sure everything is ok you may need physical therapy or injections possibly even minor surgery i've been through it goodluck i wish you the best make sure you see an orthopedic dr. and not a family dr. again goodluck you won't get any relief until you see a dr. in fact you'll get worse.
