when i insert a dvd, it automatically turns to green.. ive tried adjusting the scart leads at the back.. cos i know this usually works..

keeping in mind that the scart is brand new, and ive never had this problem before..

any ideas >

Have you just brought the new scart as a replacement? If so, try using one of a friends leads or something to see if that works o.k as your new lead may be faulty.

is your machine completely not playing DVD's? i have a problem where a black spot in the middle of the screen appears while the dvd is still playing behind this black square. and the same thing usually works, pulling on/off the plug usually gets the whole picture back??? i never had the problem before and wonder if it is just due to the age of the machine (since the PS2 first came out...)... maybe it is time for both of us to upgrade...

it's all downd to the settings and the tv try setting the ps2 to rgb
