You are referring to the Meiji period (1868-1912), right?

1. High standard of education system.
(Japanese literacy rate was 80% even before the Meiji Restoration)
2. Building up a strong military: Japan defeated Russia as early as 1905 (only 38 years after the Meiji Restoration).
3. Flexibility in accepting the western culture, political system and capitalism.

Japan was already a powerful nation in the early 1800's, that's why there was the Meiji Restoration that happened in the mid 1800's, to weaken the current government and make it controllable to outside forces.

The Japan in the early 1800's was different than the Japan in the early 1900's.

As for Japan become a powerful nation in the early 1900's.

There's a difference between being a powerful nation and being recognised as a powerful nation.

People sometimes confuse the two. A powerful nation doesn't necessary will be recognised as a powerful nation, and a nation recognised as powerful doesn't necessary mean it's really powerful.

But suffice to say United States of America history and other history similiar to it recognised Japan become a powerful nation in the early 1900's, probably much thanks to the Meiji Restoration in the mid 1800's.

Japan was a powerful nation before World War II though, that's why it left the League of Nations, and then later on was ordered to attack Pearl Harbor to bait the United States of America to attack it, again.

Then it's the Meiji Restoration all over again.

So Hitler, and Germany had some success there. little question Germany had the help of alternative countries. yet on condition that Germany replaced into the most advantageous participant on the time, they likely had little decision. help us in the different case!! yet once the Soviet Union, and Britain rebuilt their forces, and the U.S. joined the wrestle, Nazi Germany replaced into doomed.

It went to capitalization--viewing its colonies as being advantageous for commerce.
The Shōwa financial crisis refers to the period in 1927 when Emperor Hirohito took the throne. It is believed that the Great Kantō earthquake of 1923 helped bring on this depression which caused many banks and factories to close down, two years before the Great Depression in the United States. Japan took on a more government-involved approach to the economy in response. After copying western capitalization and building up they got big heads then came the war.
