Because it is. Truth is a great defense. It's a show, entertainment. If you like it, that's fine for you.

Here's where people get confused
the wrestling is not fake, but lot of moves are fake for example Punches
wrestling is scripted which makes it entertaining and chair shots and jumping from 15 feet high cage or ladders are very real and it can be dangerous
u might have heard about owen hart, he unfortunately died while doing stunts with ladders
so wrestling isnt all fake, its scripted and well choreographed

Well....Where should I start....
1. A punch from someone like The Undertaker, would likely make you bleed in real life; it takes several punches before they bleed in the WWE.
2. A Tombstone Piledriver would likely break your neck, and bust your head open.
3. A chair shot would like knock you out
4. Vince McMahon admitted to the court of law, that wrestling is fake.
But I think it's also the fact that no one has ever died from a physical injury in the WWE, despite all of the aerbiotic maneuvers they attempt. Like, you know, getting thrown off of a 20ft cell and landing on a table.

The moves are REALLY fake sometimes and how could they get people beating eachother up backstage at the exact moment it happens and it never happens during a comercial. LIke right when the camera goes backstage JOHN CENA Walks by happening to fall opon the person he has a match with that night not just like his one of the insignificant people.

I do not disagree that rasslers are great athletes and put in as much work as other athletes, but it is staged, fake no, staged yes. I think the difference is that the outcomes are decided beforehand but the way to get to those outcome is not decided, at least not decided as far as rassler A does this move after rassler B does this move. I think most rasslers are given certain freedoms once they are in the ring and do actually hurt and do damage to each other, but the end result is not in doubt.

The reason people think wrestling is fake is because it is. Even though the moves themselves are very real, the matches themselves are scripted. Still makes for gr8t entertainment though.

That, and the fact that there are much more effective ways to knock someone out (for example, actually making contact when you hit someone) kinda makes wrestling look fake.

Ok, Buy a WWE DVD, and play the matches in slow motion, you'll see that they don't even hit each other most of the time, they are always faking it.
