I doubt they would put gay cartoons on tv for kids to see. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, it might be implied. especially in the episode where spongebob is the mom and patrick is the dad and patrick says after there kid leaves " lets have another"

Spongebob is a sponge. An individual sponge can be both male and female.
Patrick being a starfish. . .well, it's a great cartoon, so who cares?

No they're cartoon charecters STOP WATCHING THE 700 CLUB back away from the TV and put down that remote. Bad Christian Go to your room! what is this bit about making out that television charecters made for children are gay? kids don't think that way unless you implant the idea and why would you do that? they'll get their butts kicked and called names soon enough because of the sheltered lives and crap you loons pump into their heads let them enjoy at least the pre-school years in innocence. PLEASE?????!!!!

I don't think Nickelodeon would put so called "gay" sponges or star fish on their show! Because they don't want little kids to be open to the world different from what they know.

I don't think they're gay but there was a survey about last year that said that gays were the number one viewers of sponge bob:)

i seriously doubt that they are gay bcuz nickelodeon would not put inappropriate stuff for kids on the show but have you seen that one episode when they raise a baby oyster (clam) together that was kinda gay but i bet that they are just really close
