They always have to chit-chat or share some stupid tidbit of "knowledge". Why can't people just keep to themselves sometimes and enjoy the silence?

Great question. My husband constantly talks when we're "watching" tv. He adds remarks during the news, I can't hear a thing. So now I fire up the laptop, and do these questions. ~~~~~~~

I have met hundreds of people like that here in TX.
Back home in MA people would rather spit at you then talk to you.

because they feel that they only have so much time to spill everything so they might as well get it all out now.? I personally think it is because nobody else will actually listen to them. so maybe if we all stop listening they will stop talking.
