As for me : Smooth to start, but twisty turn on childhood highway..... Lots of rough riding and unexpected detours, and obstacles on the adolescent freeway... After a treacherous and foggy beginning, there was more smooth riding on the young adulthood turnpike ...with only a few rough bridge approaches at times.......
Cruising along adulthood, through way has been bumpy at times.. with concern for my well-being and safety...but made pleasant with some side trips to exotic locations.. by taking a few side roads here and there....................

So, how about you?????
Explain your answer............

it started out with a downward spiral (doc drop me on my head), then it was smooth and happy times through my youngest years until the uphill of childhood began and had to change cars every other seven miles (parents separated every other weekend had a diff rent house to go to) then many dips and drops, hills and valleys. Once again it might not have been smooth but I got use to the ride and acpected the dips and hills. Then an earthquake happened and my road before me was no longer vi sable but with a lot of dig out and hard work found it again, so now on again but insted of focusing on just the bombs am taking in the view as I make my way slowly down the way

Usually I don't answer opinion questions because they aren't as fun as making fun of a kid trying to get answers on their homework, but here goes.
My life has been filled with extreme ups and downs which makes it feel more like a roller coaster than a road.
Whether it be learning the DUI lesson the hard way by causing a wreck on a busy strech of I-90, to getting my bachelors degree in chemical engineering to moving 1000 miles away from my family for a job to losing that job because of the DUI its been one downfall and then another upswing after another.
One thing is for sure,
I'm having fun.
Isn't that what life and the journey is really all about??

It's been an awesome journey so far. Parts of it were heart breakers that I could have done without, but other parts have brought sheer joy. It's been a learning experience in more ways than the traditional schooling, although that was fun too and going to university as a mature student provided many new insights. One of the lessons is that you never know what you can do until you try. And it's something I'm still exploring.

Your question pretty well sums up my life as well. It really lends credence to the 'God's Plan' idea as opposed to free will. I was drugged and inpregnated by a sex offender-I kept my girl she is wonderful. Then I married, 3 months later I knew I made a mistake but stayed 9 yrs. Got divorced and went to college, great time. Went to work, enjoyed being single person, met a younger man and married him-I don't think I am the marrying kind. Got breast cancer, survived. Past 4 years have been weird. Dad died after chemo and radiation, then pneumonia. I want to go to work parttime but I have a degree and everyone says I'm overqualified. UH, where is my free will>>>

Its been pretty bumpy since I started out with a few sunny days and fun times -- after I became a teen the hills and valleys became steeper for the last few years I've been on an incline until lately I fell into a canyon and am still figuring how to get out....

So far, my life has been good a little bumpy here and there, nothing unusual. In the past year, there has been a huge bump due to the loss of a family member and abuse. I'm still trying to fill the rest of the hole. As for the rest of my life, its a mystery. The pages are still unwritten, but they arent going anywhere.

The trip was nice and smooth until I went to college. It was bumpy from then until just a few months ago. I am now on a long, boring trip, but nothing is happening.

At present, the road is rough but should be getting better in the next few months. I'm getting ready to turn onto a different road as far my career goes. My present job isn't the greatest one in the known universe. Plus I'm going to graduate in May.

Other than a few car wrecks, train wrecks, and plane crashes, It's been just rosy as hell! What would life be like without so much excitement? As they say, success does not come easy! The happy ending is having reached it with an eye on the future and never looking back!
