I am having yahoo answers addiction withdrawls while the site is malfunctioning...Anything else fun to do on Yahoo besides Games? I would book a trip but I'm broke!

I just log out and clean off my pc or do some emails. It takes from 1 to 24 hours at times. ...Not fun at all

You can't. 999 errors are caused when Yahoo decide you have used too much bandwith. The only way to solve this is to wait (anywhere between 2 and 12 hours), if you have a roming IP address you can reset it and you will get back on, if you don't you can try switching off your modem and requiring an address after an hour or so.
To avoid it be careful how much time you are on Yahoo, if you are moving between pages a lot use your history icon and don't press the back arrow through pages and pages of stuff

I ain't real good with computers...I'd say turn it upside down to read 666 and let the devil sort it out....
