I've always heard rumors that there is a sonic in MD but I can't find one to save my like. I just want some tater tots and one of those frozen squishy joints.

Sonic apparently doesn't mind making national TV ad buys to promote their restaurants, both to attract those who live within striking distance of one of their places, as well as out of towners who might want to see what the hubbub is about.
I'd see TV ads for places like Hardees and Chick-Fil-A and wonder what they were about. Neither one is anywhere near where I live. Once I'd see one off the highway on my travels I made a point to visit. Thus, the power of advertising...

Yeah, well I live in PA and they still have commercials, and we are no where near one. I remember stopping at a Sonic in MD, when I was on my way to visit relatives, but I can't remember where?

Good question. We have the same problem here in MI. They have them like every two miles in FL but none here. Probably because the weather is not nice enough for year round use considering it is a drive in place.

That's a good question.I know that for the nearest ones are over 40 miles away(over an hour away) from where I live. We have none of them in our town.

well thats what they do in austin we have commercials for ruby tuesdays and carl juniors and it looks so good but all of them are located in dallas and huston. i dont know but the commercials force me to drive to dallas the food looks so good. but i hope you find a sonic i love there food and there ice is the best good luck

I don't know but I'm with you. I am in California and have yet to see the elusive "Sonic" or "ruby Tuesday" for that matter....
