how to promote myself in mortgage industry?

I joined a mortgage company and i'm looking to promote and advertise it.do you know any other effective ways besides spending $500 on ads in a week?please let me know!

Start calling Realtors and ask them if you can take their calls and qualify the inbound calls. It's a bonus for them since, with you taking the calls, they will only be talking to qualified buyers.

You can get an inexpensive 800# with 1,000 extensions from pro-quest technologies. Everytime a Realtor agrees with you, give them an extension. You'll get all the inbound calls.

Also, visit FSBO's and offer them the service. They get tired of answering calls from looky-loos, Realtors and investors. You take the calls and when/if they decide to use a Realtor, refer the deal to one of them which will give you a hedge up on their future business and you'll be able to add those inbound calls to your database.

Try setting up a simple blog and listing a few properties, comment on the region, link to mortgage resources. Then list the blog in and so you get some local exposure. Be sure to describe yourself as a mortgage company, mortgage broker, etc. So that you will appear for local mortgage services during a search. This will position you well in the industry. It will take a few months to see results, but its free. Hope this helps.

Hello.........You're right here.......Use the Internet. Dont pay, use your own webpage. Create a webpage where you can post your house listings with all kinds of pictures and information then just make sure you have that address on everything that has your name on it, even if its not from work. Business cards, letterhead, stationery, heck, make yourself a few t-shirts and have your buddies or your family wear them (on separate ocassions) around town.
