Is HARRY POTTER a HORCRUX of VOLDEMORT???

Question

I've read the books,brilliant and unputdownable! but i was guessing if harry could be a horcrux?

and another question! is dumbledore really dead??

I would say that he is. The evidence I draw from is at the end of the goblet of fire. When Harry and Voldemort's wands react it reverses the spells that Voldemort had cast. They were in reverse order of casting starting with the hand, then Cedric's death, Harry's mother's death, and lastly Harry's father's death at no point does the spell he cast on Harry come up even though we are told voldemort tried to kill him but he lived. I think this is evidence that Voldemort wasn't trying to kill harry but instead making him a horcrux. This explains why Harry did not die, also it could have lead to Voldemorts demise by splitting his soul to much. I think the scar in the mark of voldemorts soul in Harry and explains why Harry can understand parseltongue and have such a close connection with Voldemort.

Also Dumbledore needs to be dead for literary purposes. The mentor figure always has to die before the final confrontation between young hero and arch-villain it's just how it's done.

Like everyone else I can't wait for the last book to come out, though I'll be really sad to have the series finish. I believe that Dumbledore is dead, unfortunately, and that Snape killed him as part of a plan that Dumbledore devised to protect Harry and everyone else.

As to Harry being a horcrux it is likely, and I am one those people that believes Harry will die t the end of the series, not that I want him to, but because it would be the best ending possible, which adds to the theory of him being a horcrux.

But what did JK Fan mean by go to JK Rowling website? I don't recall Rowling denying that Harry was a horcrux. I think I'll have to check it out again...

I always thought Harry could be a horcrux, the scar on his forehead was the biggest clue. Also when we learnt the prophecy, how one could not live while the other dies, since the horcrux could be Harrys scar thats why if Voldemort dies (ie Harry kills him) then Harry has to die as well coz they are connected in that way..... that explain the prphecy. Also how when Vodemort tried to kill Harry in the very beginning, the green flash that took Voldemorts powers away AND HIS BODY for a while, thats very suspicious of being horcrux related.
As for Dumbledore, I was a believer that he wasn't really dead having read the site 'www.dumbledoreisnotdead.com' but after hearing JK Rowling in an interview saying he is really dead, who am I to argue with her...LOL

Yes, Dumbledore is really dead. Harry saw him die, Professor McGonogal seemed to beleive is, as does everyone else.
Is Harry a Horcrux? I don't think so. I think Voldie is too paranoid (not to mention too smart) to put a part of his soul into a living thing. That's why I don't think Nagini is one either, though that at least you could make an arguement for (because of Harry's dream in the 5th book).

I can't WAIT for the final book. Think I'll be calling in sick the next morning from lack of sleep LOL :D

Yes, yes, yes - I totally believe that Harry is a horcrux and that is what Dumbledore was so afraid of. I think that Dumbledore is alive on some plain or hidden somewhere because I also think that Snape had it planed with Dumbledore because of the unbreakable promise curse. I also believe that Hermione is the one that will eventually kill Voldemort I don't know why but I have a feeling!

Don't guess what the horcrux are!!! Half the fun of the books is trying to guess as you read them!!

Is Dumbledore dead? I hope not. I also Hope Sirius isn't dead. While Dumbledore had the impressive death of falling off a Hogwarts tower, poor Sirius' death certificate simply says 'fell through a curtain'!

oooooh oooooooh i am so glad you asked this question!!! I was rereading the books in preperation for Deathly Hallows and came across a passage i didnt catch before. In cos at the end when harry is talking to Dumbledore he said something interesting pg.332-333 (american version)...

"Professor Dumbledore...Riddle said I'm like him. Strange likeness, he said..." "did he, now?" said Dumbledore, looking thoughtfully at harry from under his thick silver eyebrows. " and what do you think, harry?" "I dont think im like him!" said harry more loudly than he'd intended. "I mean, im---im in gryffindor, im..." but he fell silent a lurking doubt resurfacing in his mind. "Professor," he started again after a moment. "The sorting hat told me id --- id have done well in slytherin. everyone thought i was Slytherin's heir for awhile...because i can speak parseltongue... " "You can speak parseltongue, harry," said Dumbledore calmly, "because Lord Voldemort---who is the last remaining ancestorof Salazar Slytherin---can speak parseltongue. Unless im much mistaken, he transferred some of his own powers to you the night he gave you that scar. Not something he intended to do, im sure..." "Voldemort put a bit of himself in me?" even if voldemort didnt mean to make harry a horcrux i think harry is one. Now this is just my thinking and as for Dumbledore i think he is dead and will come back to help harry as a ghost and that Severus killed Dumbledore at his(Dumbledore's) request. Snape is not a total "good guy" but i do think he is on Dumbledore's side and not Voldemorts.This is just my thinking and i most likely will be totally wrong but this is the way i see it.

Harry is not a horcrux. Dumbledore IS dead. R.A.B. is
Regulas Articus Black, Sirius Blacks assumedly dead brother. And the bar keep of the hogs head inn is Dumbledore's brother Aberforth.

and remember Snape said "No unforgivable curses for you Potter". Sure seems like someone is going to a lot of trouble for him.

No I think JK is a horcrux and Harry is going to have to feed her alive to Valdemort in order to appease him. Dumbledore is dead. He died on page 354

Dumbledore has been confirmed absolutely dead by J.K. Rowling, and she says we need to shut up about it, he's not coming back.
But he might come back as a ghost.

It was said that Jo said that Harry WAS NOT a horcrux, but it was never confirmed.
