I've seen this movie six times already and I can't get enough! I love Gerard Butler and the other 299 men!! My favorite scene was the first time they go into battle! I want to know what you liked in this movie:

1. King Leonidas - this dude just gets you pumped up right before battle. The way he turned and kicked the messenger in the well was badass.
2. Favorite scene - I have two. One was the whole "madness? THIS IS SPARTA!!!" I loved that part the whole slow motion and kicking the messenger down the well. Just made you want to get up out of your seat and cheer. The other had to be where they are walking into battle with the rock music playing. That was just freaking awesome. Perfect soundtrack to a movie of this caliber.
3. "Madness? THIS IS SPARTA!" - I've said it over and over again. Perfect line to kick the guys ***.
4. Loved this movie. Loved the film style, the lines, the battle scenes, the background, and even the blood being thrown at the screen. Wonderful movie. Probably best this year.

I am currently in Greece, and I saw the movie in a Greek cinema, and let me tell you...you could mop up the pride at the end! It was fantastic!
1. Gerard Butler (that kind of passion makes my breathing difficult.)
2. The scene where they showed how the phallanx actually worked. Indescribable.
3. "Spartans! What is YOUR profession!?"
4. Best I've seen in years and years and for years and years to come. (Maybe I'm biased here, but after the movie, I got swept away with about 30 greeks to a bar celebrated till dawn! Best time I ever had going to a cinema!)

Loved the scene early on in the battle, where one Spartan charges a bit ahead of the phalanx and in slow motion shreds Persian after Persian - slowing down even more when the killing blows are struck. Man that was awesome!

I really liked that movie, the battle scenes were awesome. The slow motion, blood squirtin, body part choppin off was what made the movie what it is.

I actually liked it when the other Greeks (Athenians?) go into the battle; i was waiting for them to join, and wish there was more scenes with them.
