An objective question is one that is definitely right or wrong--like a multiple choice question.

This is unlike a subjective question such as a writing prompt, which may have different degrees of right and wrong.

Objective in this case means there is a definate right and wrong answer. The opposite is subjective, which means the answer has to do with one's personal experiences.
