HOW DO I SAVE ON Final Fantasy Tactics Advance???

On Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which I bought from Game Stop Brand New for $18.00, I have done 4 missions and I don't want to sit through all the talking again. I pressed Save on the Pause Menu and it says Error in Backup Memory. HOW DO I FIX THIS???

NVM, I traded it in for Final Fantasy I + II Dawn of Souls, thanks every1 whom posted.

That's a problem with the game cartridge itself, it's not something you're going to be able to fix yourself, unfortunately.
