I was camping, and crawled out of the woods three days after to find the world gone mad. Without in any way meaning to belittle the suffering of the individuals involved, I thought that the entire United States went crazy and expected the entire world to follow suit.

I mean, in Israel they see stuff like that all the time. It has been going on since 1948, and it never ends. One single attack, and the entire nation goes ballistic.

If it had not been so readily exploitable for political gain the nation would be healing, and perhaps a bit more understanding of how Londoners felt every day for years. Sadly, the agenda of our leaders has been served by keeping the wounds open, and directing our anger at their enemies, foreign and domestic.

To be blunt, after this many years I am waiting for the rest of you to get over it. It wasn't our fault, and we need to get on with our lives.

I think someone needed a reason to go to war to Iraq and set the 9/11 all up on purpose! It's horrible, but guess what, government really doesn't care about people's feelings! It will do all it takes to do its dirty work for the coming anti-christ!

The horror of those there follow by the families and grieving for them.
Angry to those who did it.

Knowing we were at war and we can no longer think we are immune from Muslim terrorism.

That this evil has to be stop before it gets worse.

Appeasement will never work.

amazing how they knew where to strike t o bring down both towers in a matter of hours.

Really precise planning and a marvel of engineering skill to do what they did with so little skill and effort/.

Makes one wonder if they are not the ones to inherit the world.

Is this a trick question? Why do people go on asking such questions as this? The United States has clearly hit back with such force as to compare to almost no retaliation in history--and we could do much, much worse at any time. Is there any question, here? Why ask this?

I lost a friend and a co-worker there. It saddens me to see some of the rhetoric on the web. Thank you to all our troops in Iraq, Afganistan and elsewhere around the globe working hard to keep us safe. You're my heros. And, like Pearl Harbor, we should NEVER forget.

my mind races with so many different emotions. of course i feel horrible for the familes. i could not even begin to know how they feel. of course it has had a tremendous affect on our country security wise. we should have been more cautious before all of this happened. it sad that it had to happen for the US to tighten up security.

I still hurt when I think about it. Mostly I hurt because I can't do anything to change it. Well, that's not true. I can pray for the families!
