Ive read the book Velocity by Dean Koontz. If you have read it, could you tell me if Billy's wife died in the end of the book? I know she woke up from her coma but then she shut her eyes and that was that.

I think she lived. I think that life for Billy goes back to normal - at least normal for him. The thing about Koontz is that he is very sadistic in a way. He takes people and suddenly plunges them into horrific situations with horrific solutions and watches them operate - like bugs under a microscope. Then when he is done with them, he kind of just lets them go like bugs - back to their old lives. That is a recurring theme with Koontz and his doggie co-writer. LOL - Sicko aint he? C.
