I'll assume you are talking about children under the age of 16....

1. Children should not be left home alone.
2. Parents should know where their children are at all times.
3. Parents should closely monitor their childrens' use of the computer, and it should NEVER be installed in their bedrooms. That goes for television too....

1. Always put them in their car seats and make sure the seats are correctly installed and the straps are correctly adjusted.
2. Never leave them unattended in a car.
3. Make sure the family has an exit strategy if the house catches on fire or any other dangerous situation occurs.
4. Have a secret word & tell the child never to go with any adult who doesn't know the word.

Rule Number One.
The Goverment cannot step in and tell you how to raise your child unless you are physicaly or mentally abusing said child.
Rule Number Two
Liberal do-gooders need to mind thier own business unless the child is 'at risk' for above said reasons
Rule Number Three.
Let Parents discipline thier child how they see fit.

Safety and security will follow and so will respect for the parents for the child.

1. Know what is going on in your neighborhood before leaving children out to play.
2. keep an eye on them while they are outside.
3 know who is friends with your child.

1. Alway talk to your child and let your child talk to you. Be open and honest.
2. Know what your child is up too.
3. Love your child but let you child know that there are rules and stick to them.
