i just bought a hp lappy.... and it has been working ok for about 6 months now...anyway i had my lappy charging and i took off the charger chord and my lappy just turned off and then it did the same thing over and over every time i would take it off the switch....does anyone know what is wrong??? If you know how to solve my problem please tell me ................ty

your battery may have burned out. try holding the power button for 5 seconds i think and if it doesnt work, you may need a new battery or it could also be that your battery may have just overheated so i guess if you wait a while it might work.

first,before you charge it, make sure the power is off first, then wait untill the hp lappy stops charging, then when it's done, take the cord out then, so that you have no problems making it go off.

Could it be that the battery died ?
