Kansas, UCLA, UNC, Ohio State

DUH Dr. UNC and Georgetown are in the same bracket, how can they be in the Final Four together? Did you even think about your answer?

Kansas finally makes the final four? Risky, but I am gambling that they will make it. Florida has a gargantuan task repeating as national champions, a task almost impossible to duplicate, but they have the easiest region. They at least make the final four. Even when Oden does not play well, Ohio State still wins. Only three losses on the season. Outstanding. Final four bound. Maybe a surprise but Georgetown rounds out my final four. I like their defense. If Oden plays outstandingly, then Ohio State will be the 2007 National Champion, but Oden has to be more of a factor than he has been. Kevin Durant is hands down the best bb player in the NCAA. Oden needs significant playing time on the college level to mature him. He has the potential to be great. Some sleepers in the tourney are Georgia Tech, Maryland and Texas. These are teams you never know how they will play, but occasionally they can beat the best. If they decide to do that here, they could shake up people's expectations and even my own.

UCLA over Texas...

First of all, UCLA has very little traveling to do and all of their games will be basically home games until the final four (they can make it to the final four without leaving CA)

Second of all they are a great team... they are ranked 7th in the nation right now I believe and they won the Pac-10 regular season the past two years. They made it to the championship game last year (and lost to florida) and they are returning the nucleus of that team. They have not only the skill but the experience to dance.

I picked Kansas to win it all because they have the most depth in their team and really know what their doing especially for a you group of guys. Between Chalmers, Rush, Wright, Kaun, Collins and a Robinson, they can do whatever is needed to win the game their in at all costs, like in the Texas game, it took Wright's 4 fouls and Chalmers' fouling out to win. I know you'll look at the avatar and say, "what does that GIRL know about basketball", well, basketball is my life, here in Kansas we kind of expected the number 1 seed and would be thrilled to make it to the final four.

I think it's gonna be UNC, UCLA, Florida and Ohio St. in the final four.
UNC is clearly the best team in the Eastern bracket. They've beaten pretty much the top teams and their speed and shooting are really great. UCLA was great last year and will be good this year too in my opinion. Florida is the same thing. Ohio St. has a very good record this year and they will continue to do good in the NCAA tourney.
