Lately, I have watched several shows on TV about possible 9/11 consipracy theories. One says that a cruise missile actually hit the pentagon. One says that the two planes didn't actually bring down the WTC, and that explosives were placed there in days prior to the attack. I'm not saying I believe any of this, its just interesting and wanted to get your thoughts.

Also, this show that I watched the other night said that the WTC was closed for several hours the day before the attack for "random security checks" and everyone was ordered out. This is when the explosives were supposedly placed.

there are both scientific and physical evidence proving that the story sold by the government is incorrect.
1. the u.s. government claims the towers fell because the fires caused by the engines and fuels of the plane melted the steel beams. however there have been scientific experiments proving that the temperature required to melt the steel beams in the tower is much higher than that caused by the planes.
2.the towers fell in a pancake style. this could only happen if the steel beams had melted. temperature to melt the beams can only be produced with explosives.
3. the day before as you said the workers of the building were required to leave for random security checks, and for a few months earlier workers said that they began to have random evacution drills.
4.there is a building that is 400 yards away, i think it's called tower 14. this building fell the exact same way as the other towers, in the pancake style. the government didn't offer an explanation as to why this huge tower fell.
5. before the towers fell there was a conversation that was somehow recorded between Dick Cheney and an unknown person. Cheney was saying: they are 30 miles away, 20 miles, 10 miles...
6. there are educated university proffesors that researched this and are giving lectures, and the government tried to buy them from talking. they offered these proffesors a lot of money not to talk about this.
7. the kind of maneuver that was made by the plane that hit the pentagon could not have been made by a commercial plane. there is also no evidence of any commercial plane remains in the pentagon. the government said the plane melted but it's physically impossible that it melted.
8. all the metal and steel from the buildings that could have been tested were not allowed to be sent to colleges for testing. they were quickly sent to recycling.

these are just a few evidences. there are amazing proofs that contradict with the governments lies. i suggest you visit this site for information: http://www.st911.org/ , and search scholars for truth on google. a great book to read is: The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions.

First of all, all of the 9/11 conspiracy theories are bullshit!

I worked in the trade center (Tower 1, 48,49 and 50th floors) for most of the spring and summer of 2001 installing office furniture. And that wasn't my first job in the towers (sadly, it was my last) so I'm intimately familiar with the building's elaborate security procedures.

It was always a pain in the neck when a new guy came on the job, because he'd spend two or three hours getting his computer printed photo ID security pass from the guards.

Deliveries where a pain too - because the guards elaborately checked every delivery truck.

So there's no way in hell that anybody brought explosives in there!!

Besides, it would be impossible to wire a building that size with enough charges to blow it up in a couple of hours.

Blowing up a structural steel building is a hell of a lot harder than the average uninformed person might think. It would involve thosands of pounds of explosives, a couple of miles of electrical cables, and several hundred trained demolition workers to carry out that task - and it would take them a couple of MONTHS to wire up a building that size!!

I could go on, but you get the idea!!

Bottom line, al-Qaeda terrorists who were exiled from Saudi Arabia carried out the attacks - to drive American businesspeople and military personnel out of their homeland, and overthrow the American dominated absolute monarchy in their homeland.

I don't know WHY some Americans can't accept that cold hard reality.

I find it curious that the government - that doesn't do anything speedily - managed to 'investigate' this matter in such a brief period of time. It's also astounding that the scrap metal from the Twin Towers was used to build a new U.S. battleship. Wouldn't standard procedure be to preserve all that twisted wreckage as 'evidence' for further investigations?
I find it curious that George W. Bush's brother happened to be in charge of security just prior to the Twin Towers being 'attacked'.
I find it curious that the owner of the Twin Towers took out a massive insurance policy shortly before the 9-11 tragedy, which included a clause that specifically named 'terrorist attacks' as incidents that were fully covered by insurance. That man turned a $7 million investment into $16 billion overnight, when those two towers (which were sparsely occupied with paying tenants) were destroyed.
I find it curious that Cleveland's Hopkins International Airport was closed at about the same time a plane was supposedly crashing in Pennsylvania.
I find it curious that demolition experts were in the Twin Towers days before the explosions, and that when those towers collapsed, they imploded as buildings do that have been rigged by demolition experts.
I find it curious that so many analysts have challenged the veracity of the 9-11 disasters without so much as a serious glance from federal investigators.
I find it curious that the Bush administration has a record of lying to the American people and to Congress, and that it's plausible that the events surrounding 9-11 might have been just another giant lie.
I find it curious that the binLaden family has such close ties to the Bush family, including their $2.5 million investment in the Carlyle Group, a company that has profited immensely from the 'war' in Iraq (and a company that George H.W. Bush joined as soon as he left the Oval Office).
These 'curiosities' are just the tip of the iceberg. There are many more unanswered questions that the Bush administration has failed to address. -RKO-

I have a friend who is a two-star Admiral in the USN who saw the aircraft hit the Pentagon.

Do you really think that the loss of close to a trillion dollars after the attacks would have been missed? Nobody profited in the loss after 9/11. Someone profits from a real conspiracy.

Absolutely. Pass the word along. Check out Infowars.com. The United States was responsible for 911, not alkida. They want a new world order or "police state". The more we get "attacked by terrorists" the more we will ask them for their protection. A great number of people are finding out about this, and I say welcome to the club. By the way, ask yourself if you have ever seen a picture of a plane hitting the pentagon. The pentagon- The Defense Base for the United States. The pentagon- which should have a ton of security cameras and not one single photo. Hmmm..... You might also want to check out the conspiracy moon landing theory. I watched one of the DVDs from info wars website and it proves that the Trade Centers were actually wired for demolition to come down, not from the planes. Also, building 7 was demolitioned down too which they believe to be the central location of information for the 911 conspiracy. The same guy owned all three buildings and was granted 7 billion dollars after the "attack". Keep digging. Seek and you shall find.

You should look up Alex Jones and his videos. He predicted the terrorist attack. Said in July 2001 that within a few months there would be an attack and everyone should be running to the government telling them we know you did it if there is an attack.

Not being from the USA I don't find it difficult at all to believe in conspiracy theories....when the FACTS all add up that is. That little dinky thing that hit the Pentagon was a plane? A little round hole?

All I can say is do your homework and make up your own minds.

I like to laugh at them and the people who believe them. It's great sport.

We have so much data on these events from all over the world that you've just about got to be a mental flatline to believe one of these stupid theories.

I believe it has been under-investigated to this point..
How did the pilots get trained in Florida?
Who handled their visas?
The planes went thru a heavy-traffic corridor. How did the second one get thru unchallenged?
Does Bush do business with Saudis who support terrorism?
These are valid questions.
