The greatest level of generosity that i have ever shown anyone would be my daughter, because she became very ill at three weeks old , and her doctor mis-diagnosed her illness&failed to reconize the very seriousness , and she had seziures all night, which left her mentally challenaged for the rest of her life, so I set aside my own career and have cared for her for 26 years, and have no regrets. she actually has amazed everyone at how well she's doing..

I used to drive by the same homeless man every day on my way to work and I'd give him a couple bottles of water and some food every day and invited him to come get some free food from my restaurant. I did that every day for about a year and a half till I moved to a different store but I told the person replacing me to still give him free food and I'd pay for it if she wanted but she gave it to him for free too.
I know that's not huge but I'm poor and it's what I could do.

I once gave my car to a young gal that was divorced and going it on her own, her car was SOOOO bad and she drove each day 10 miles to work and worked afternoons so she was coming home after 1 a.m. She was a good girl who had gotten into a bad situation and worked hard to get out. Today she is financially blessed and married to a wonderful man who treats her how she deserves. I am proud to say I was her mentor.

Well it wasn't me but my fella at the time, he had just bought his first car, brought me out of the pub to show it to me, nice, I said, great to have a lift home tonight then, and he said, Oh, um no, I told Mick that he could borrow it to drive the girlfriend home.
Mind you he did walk me the 2 miles home, and yes I did marry him and yes that was 24 years ago.
And he still does that kinda stuff all the time.

When giving something you necessarily won't let go.

Comes from the bottom of your heart and you normally won't say it; otherwise is not generosity.
