When neither has any political ambitions left. In other words, never.

Bill and Hillary did have a few unpleasant moments, but they now remind me of the new Ozzie and Harriet.

I loved the Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, an American radio and television series, ... Starring Ozzie Nelson and his wife, singer Harriet Hilliard (Hillard-kind of spooky).

Now Wikipedia shows sham (slang): slang word originated in Ballymena. Used instead of the word "friend" or "buddy", so yes I guess they do like each other as Buddy's for political reasons.

Every marriage has it's own rules. People are drawn to one another and stay with one another for many reasons. In the beginning it is often love and sexual chemistry and it evolves into other things. Regardless, both are highly intelligent people who doubtlessly have agendas based on both ambition but also a sincere commitment to Democratic ideals. Like the rest of us, they are very flawed but I think they probably share a tremendous respect for one another and sometimes that is the best you can do after decades of marriage in the public eye. They certainly share a articulate daughter who has never embarrassed and can pat each other on the back when it comes to her.

No, I don't think their marriage is a sham. I think it went through a very bad period and survived it. Many of us experience that in our marriages - we just don't have to deal with it being broadcast all over the world. I remember old film of them, where you could tell their smiles were genuine and their eyes sparkled when they look at each other. That got lost for awhile and that's understandable. But when I see them together now I have a sense that they are happy and they've reached a modicum of peace in their marriage. They seem to me to be very comfortable and affectionate with each other. Call it woman's intuition if you must, but I think all is well in the Clinton household.

Never. I do think they stay together for political reasons. For some strange psychological reason, they need each other. I don't know why they keep hanging on, since divorce doesn't have the stigma it once did and I think if Hillary divorced Bill, millions of women would applaud her.

Why does it bother some people so much that they stayed together and worked out their problems? Isn't that what family values are all about? Do you approve more of Newt and Rudy with three marriages each? Do you think there's something wrong with Mrs. Haggard staying married to Ted and trying to work things out?

Where do your family values come in?
