A few weeks ago I would have said Buffalo with Miller and Biron, but now its tough. Luongo is good but his backup has 1 career NHL win, so Vancouver is out. I would have to say San Jose, with Nabokov and Toskala. Both are +.500 goalies, with a save % above .900 and a GAA below 2.5. I would be happy to have either one of those goalies playing 25-30 games for me.

The Wild are not a bad pick, with those three all playing very well out there. However, I think that San Jose has a very enviable goaltending situation, with two guys who can start in this league in both the regular season and playoffs. Of course I'm talking about Vesa Toskala and Evgeni Nabokov. Nabokov has had success in both the regular season and playoffs, guiding San Jose to their (so far) only appearance in the Conference Finals in 2004, where they lost in 6 to Calgary. Toskala has showed us the past couple of seasons that he is very much capable of carrying this team just as far as Nabokov can, which makes for a very interesting goaltending rivalry between these two guys, and gives coach Ron Wilson the unenviable task of choosing one to start over the other every night. This puts San Jose in a very good position to do some serious damage in the playoffs, and gives them a chance to come out on top in the West. San Jose arguably has the best overall goaltending in the league today.

best team(s)- New Jersey Devils and the Chicago Blackhawks. The Devils are the finest team in the league (stat depending) and the Blackhawks are basically dominant average. The Devils have the finest street list and Chicago has the finest homestead list. both communities have tremendous goaltending. Brodeur continues to be in his best and Huet has ultimately hit his streak for the Hawks. Too not straightforward to call who's more beneficial useful. Worst team- Carolina Hurricanes. sure, i know that they had many injuries, particularly the single to Cam Ward who replaced into between the finest goalies in previous years. in spite of the undeniable fact that, he has back from his harm and the Hurricanes nevertheless warfare. they don't look in undemanding words the worst team this year so a procedures, yet as well the most important letdown.

The Wild have a phenomenal goaltending staff.
They have strong goalies 3 deep. Bob Mason (the goaltending coach) is doing something right :) The talent of Fernandez, Backstrom and Harding help make his job easier.

Minnesota Wild
Why? Because they have a strong pack of goalies!
Fernandez is amazing in net and can stop just about everything. When he is injured Backstrom steps up and does an amazing job! Even when he is sitting back in his net and the play is down in the other teams zone forever, and they come back and take amazing shots he comes up with even more amazing saves! AND THEN.... when Fernandez, and Backstrom are both injured, Josh Harding comes up and is in net and does an unbelievable job! no hockey fans even knew who Josh Harding was, much less what position he played and by the end of the season every hockey fan should know who he is.
So i gotta go with the Minnesota Wild

In my view, it's a 3-way tie among Nashville, New Jersey, and San Jose.
Nashville (Tomas Vokoun and Chris Mason) and San Jose (Vesa Toskala and Evgeni Nabakov) each have 2 legit #1 goalies, and New Jersey's clear #1 (Martin Brodeur) plays so often it doesn't matter if anybody outside of New Jersey even heard of his backup (Scott Clemmensen).
That being said, I would most like to be coaching Nashville come playoff time.

The Sharks have two great goalies. I'm not impressed with Vancouver's Luongo. I think a large part of his success is do to the excellent defensemen of the Canucks. When Luongo played in the Allstar game, he didn't do that great. He has a lot of rebounds and is weak on the wrap around.

Roberto Loungo. As an canucks fan even I realize that without him the Canucks would not be the best team after the break just look at the amount of goals canucks scored and you would see that it had one of the worst offence in the league while the defence aren't that good either. While Brouder might be good I think Loungo has the edge with this

I would have to go with Brodeur of the Devils for a couple reasons. 1st he is so consistent and never seems to get injured that it doesn't matter if he doesn't have a quality backup. He is having an amazing season and has a good shot at breaking a couple of records. He has led the Devils through many winning seasons and is good for a few more.
