The last 3-5 months gave me quite a trouble: every time after I have my period I have these unpleasant "leaks" (they last till the next period, but decrease in abundance). It's a transparent but smelly liquid. The thing is that nothing hurts/itches , but these "leacks" are so significant, that by the end of the day my panties are literally wet!! Is that normal??
I am only 16 and never had sex... but what could be the problem here??
Please, help. I am really worried.:(
Thanks,

Yes sounds like an infection, you better have it checked out by your OBGYN. It's not normal to have smelly discharges every day. But, don't worry, the doctor should be able to diagnose it and get rid of it in a maximum time of 14 days. If you self medicate or get vaginal douches you could actually make it worse, so the best thing is to visit your OBGYN and get the appropriate treatment.

If it smells, you likely have a bacterial infection (you would know if it's yeast, that's more like cottage cheese). Bacterial infections are usually colorless but smell "fishy." Go to the doctor - they will give you an antibiotic and it should heal within a day (but stay on the antibiotics until they are gone).

I have girl problems and I would recommend that you see your dr, and most importantly of all discuss this issue with your mom.
