Ok so after all the sleaze and stuff in the UK, can we trust Politicians more than the Aristocracy or do the Politicians let us down, waste our money, tax us unfairly more than the Royals ever did?

i think there both the same in different ways, do the royal and politicians really care? they both have done there dirt through the years. i don't think we can trust any of them. it's too risky.

If you are talking of the Royals as they were before they became nothing more then figure heads, is there really any difference between them and the politicians of today. The basic difference is that the Royals could do what they wanted and there was nobody to censor them. With an elected government,as much as we may hate them, they have a limited time in office and we the public have the option to vote them out. There is also a Senate and House, in the US, to block the President, where there is no such thing in a Monarchy.

Politicians... I still think that Jack the Ripper was a member of the royal family and you can see how well they covered that up.
