If you are faxing from home and it is a local number, there is no charge. If it is a long distance call then you will be charged. Faxing from a store always costs.

Some web site have free fax. You upload files and fax to the other people.

I use efax.com and its free....just download the software and they will give you a fax-number...the area-code is a Chicago one, but who cares.....it doesn't cost you anything anyway!!!

I get all my incoming faxes send to my email, then I have a choice of printing them or delete it! so I have no waste of paper....but to send a fax, I use my 4-1 Epson printer(scanner) or a my good old free-standing fax-machine....
